MEET ME

Hey there! I'm Katie. I started A Sunny Side of Southern in 2015 to share my love of fashion and stye with you. Since then, it has evolved into me coming here and sharing what's on my heart with you. My hope and prayer through my little corner of the internet, is that I am able to encourage, inspire, and bring some joy in every post I share. 

Here's 10 ~fun facts~ to get to know me a little better!

1. I'm a diehard Georgia Bulldog fan living in a sea of Tennessee Volunteers. I grew up in Georgia going to the football games and my love for the Dawgs runs deep. I graduated from UGA in 2014. Go Dawgs!

2. I love challenges. Let me explain, I've done reading challenges, workout challenges, Whole30, 10 day juice cleanses, 30 day clean eating challenges, etc. Call me crazy, but they're so fun to me and I learn something new about myself every time. 

3. I love to travel. I got the itch when I had the opportunity to study abroad in China while in college. It was the trip of a lifetime! Since then, I've graciously been able to go to a few more breathtaking places and I can't wait to see (Lord willing) what else the world has to offer. 

4. I'm addicted to coffee. Lattes, cappuccinos, iced coffee - I love it all. My love of coffee has also introduced my love of coffee shops. The cuter, the better!

5. I'm working on becoming a morning person. Like a real morning person. I'd say right now I'm a morning person on the weekdays, but the weekends, not so much. I get up between 5:30 - 5:45am on (ok, most) weekdays. If you know someone who is willing to send you a text or call you when you want to wake up, that really helps! #accountability 

6. I'm obsessed with Law & Order SVU. I've seen every episode more than once and it never gets old! 

7. I'm a brunch enthusiast. Eggs benedict, bacon, coffee, mimosas, french toast...need I say more?

8. I believe in living an intentional life. Not doing things just for the sake of doing them, but doing them with purpose. Loving and living wholeheartedly. 

9. I have a twin brother. His name is John. And yes, we are fraternal ;) 

10. I love, love, love Jesus with everything inside of me. He is ever faithful, good, and all sufficient. He is the provider of our every need and knows us to the core. I'm here to tell you that getting to know Him personally will change your life! If you are looking for happiness, contentment, and love, look no further. Those things are found ONLY in Jesus Christ and no earthly thing can ever compare.
