I thought this post was appropriate with it being the first day of February! This outfit would be great for a Valentine's Day date or a night out with the girls. I feel like Valentine's is one of those holidays people either love or hate. I, personally, love it. I think it's because growing up, even when I didn't have a Valentine of my own, my parents always sent me flowers to school and got me my favorite candy and it made me feel loved a little extra that day. Of course, getting gifts is always sweet, but it's really about making someone feel extra special. (I also realize you can make someone feel special on any given day, and not just on a holiday...but it's still so fun!) Anyways, I'll quit blabbering now ;)
I've been wanting to incorporate red into my wardrobe more and this top was just the ticket. You'd think with going to UGA that I would own more red than I do. The ruffles are trendy right now, but the red gives it a classic vibe paired with black pants and red flats. Not to mention how cute it is!
