I BELIEVE IN NASHVILLE

Hey there...long time no see!

Boy, has life gotten busy. I'm glad to finally be back to catch you up on a little bit of what's been going on! This past weekend, I visited a dear friend from college in her new home..Nashville! (insert heart eyes emoji here)

The weekend was so perfect. I rode up with my boyfriend on Friday and met up with Anne Tanner that night. We ate at Edley's BBQ and it was SO.GOOD. I highly recommend the pork tacos #homeadetortillas. After dinner, he dropped Anne Tanner and I off at her apartment while he stayed with some friends. He went to Belmont for college, so he got a chance to catch up with some old roommates.

The next day, we went to brunch at the Pub. I've been on a taco kick lately, so I got the breakfast tacos. Again, so good. The weather could not have been better. It's been a pretty warm fall up until now and the weather is finally starting to cool off. Thankfully, what I brought to wear was just right for the dropping temps.

After brunch, we stopped by the most adorable pumpkin patch on 12 South (which has to be the cutest street ever!) and got some pumpkins to carve later.

Later that day, Anne Tanner and I took her dog, Gus, for a walk and went exploring around Nashville a little bit. One of the things I was unashamedly excited about visiting in Nashville was going to Reese Witherspoon's new store, Draper James. And let me just tell you, it was this southern girls *dream* shop. From the blue and white striped wall on the outside, to the complementary sweet tea when you walked in the door, it was perfection. You go, Reese!

I think it's safe to say I'll be visiting Nashville again very soon.

On another note, I was going to dedicate an entire post as to why I've been MIA for the past few months, but honestly life has simply gotten busy and I don't really have another reason other than that. The Lord has provided immensely for me in the last few months and I couldn't be more grateful.

Some wisdom to take with you: "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV

It feels good to be back!

As always, stay sunny
