Bean Boots // Vineyard Vines Travel Case
So, I tried really hard not to do any Christmas posts until Thanksgiving was over, but who am I kidding? I love Christmas way too much not to! Also, it's never to early to prepare! ;) Which brings me to the point of this post. Is it just me or are men the hardest to buy for? Whether it's a boyfriend, husband, dad, uncle, brother, (you get the idea...) it can be hard. One way I like to get around that 'I have no idea what in the world I'm gonna do' feeling is to start with the classics. Things like watches, ties/bowties, cologne, sunglasses/sunglasses straps, wallets, etc., are things he's probably going to use most days, if not everyday. And then just think about the type of guy you're buying for and pick out something you'd think he'd like!
Here are a few of my personal favorites:
1. Pajama pants - Every guy needs some comfortable pajama pants to either sleep in or lounge around in. Mine as well get some nice ones like these.
2. Fleece Pullover - I don't know about you, but at least every guy I know (all ages) loves some type of fleece jacket. It's casual and comfortable which is a win-win in most guys books (and mine, too). I personally love Patagonia jackets like these.
3. Bean Boots - L.L. Bean boots are a great gift in my opinion. For the practical reasons-they're rain & cold weather boots. Every guy needs some type of rain boot. Bean boots come in a few different heights and have many features. You can get them insulated (for those of you that live where it gets really cold for winter), fleece lined, ventilated, among many other things. They also make a moccasin that you can just slip right on. Bean boots literally last forever. When they said they're made to stand the test of time, they weren't kidding! If you're thinking or planning on ordering some, do it immediately because they typically get backordered pretty quickly during the holidays because they're made in house. Also, order a whole size down...they run big!
4. Golf Set - My brother loves to play golf, so a gift like this is a no brainer! This Vineyard Vines golf set comes with three Titlest golf balls, 20 tees, and a golf towel.
5. Watch - I personally believe everyone should get back into wearing a watch everyday. I feel like our generation has become too reliant on our cell phones to tell us the time. A personal favorite brand of mine is Daniel Wellington. The watches are simple and classic and you can't go wrong with either of those things!
What are some of your favorite gifts for the guys?
Stay sunny,
Katie
