FALL FAVORITES

Ok, I can't take it any longer...I'm officially ready for fall! It was in the 50's outside this morning and the only other thing I needed was a pumpkin spice latte in my hand ;).

Thankfully, there's a few more weeks before the weather stays cool all day which gives you plenty of time to stock up on those fall favorites! Here are a few of mine.

(From left to right)

1. Barbour Jacket: This jacket is on my ultimate wish list. I've always wanted a Barbour, but I've never been able to pull the trigger on the hefty price. I love the colors that are offered and the corduroy collar. I've linked some other more budget friendly options that I love here (on sale!) and here (I have the insulated version of this coat in 'loden' and it's SO warm. Also love the 'rustic red').

2. L.L. Bean striped shirt: Everyone needs a striped shirt for fall. It's so versatile under sweaters, vests and cute on its on with jeans and boots.

3. J. Crew Puffer Vest: I love vests. They're perfect for fall over a long sleeve shirt for a light layer and in the winter for multiple layers!

4. Patagonia Fleece: I got my first Patagonia for Christmas last year and I love it! It's so warm and great to throw on over a t-shirt for running errands or going to class (for those of you who don't like to dress up...#guitlyagain).

5. Old Navy Scarf: Fall and scarves go hand in hand. I love this one from Old Navy because the colors go with almost any color you would wear in the fall. Scarves can be worn in so many different ways to get the look you're going for. I'm all about versatility!

6. RayBan Sunglasses: Sunglasses are really a favorite year round, but I love these tortoise club masters!

7. Monogrammed Necklace: Another favorite all year round, but I like to wear simple necklaces with sweaters in the fall and this one is just perfect.

8. Tory Burch Riding Boots: I looove these boots! I got my first pair of TB boots from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I can't wait to wear them when the weather cools down. I literally wear boots with everything in the fall and winter. The last pair I had, I had to get them resoled twice because I wore them so much. They go with everything from jeans to skirts and dresses. I've always wanted a pair of TB boots, but couldn't make myself pay that much for them. When I got my first job out of college, I saved up and waited for the Nordstrom sale to finally pull the trigger! Like I said, I wear boots until the soles fall off, so if you don't wear them as much as I do I would get some less expensive ones for the season. I've linked some other options that are more budget friendly here (I have these and black and love them!) and here

9. Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Scented Candle: The perfect way to get in the fall spirit is to have this candle burning in the room! Every year, Bath and Body Works comes out with a new fall line and it always comes with something pumpkin. If you're not into super scented candles, baking a pumpkin pie or pumpkin muffins also do the trick! :)

10. Madewell Leather Tote: I think oxblood is going to be another go-to fall color again this season. The great thing about this tote is the color (obvi ;)), the space, and...wait for it...it's monogrammable! (not sure if that's a real word, but it I think it should be hehe) I'm all about anything that can be personalized. I've linked some other oxblood colored totes and cross-body's that I love and are reasonably priced here, here, and here (this one's reversible!).

11. L.L. Bean boots: My bean boots are a favorite right on up there with my riding boots. I wear them when it's raining, cold, running errands, picking pumpkins in a pumpkin patch (it's no secret I love all things pumpkin), basically anywhere casual! If you're wanting a pair, go ahead and order now because they get backordered quickly.

12. Coach Leather Loafer: When I'm not wearing my riding boots or bean boots, I'm wearing loafers. These are comfy, supportive and look great with jeans and a sweater. I have a pair I got last season from Tuckernuck that are almost identical to these Coach ones. I also love a good tan flat like this pair if you're not into loafers.

13. Pearl Studs: It's pretty rare that you'll see me in any other earrings than some type of pearl. I love a statement earring, but in the fall and winter months, I usually stick to pearl studs because with scarves, turtlenecks, and jackets, it can get kinda busy up in the neck/ears area. And besides, pearls are a girls best friend! (along with lipstick, diamonds, and monograms ;) )

What are your fall favorites?

Stay Sunny,

Katie
