Y'all. Can we just take a minute to appreciate at how CUTE these shorts are?! Seriously, the pattern is so adorable with the asymmetrical dots and the pleats. And they're high waisted! (Yay for being flattering!) As sad as I am to say it, they're sold out :(. I got them this past spring from J Crew Factory and they went fast, but I've linked another great option that is very affordable and have a bow on the side (even better!). I paired these shorts with a black silk tank that I got from the Loft outlet, but I've linked a similar one from Loft and it's marked down to $35! These sandals I'm wearing are also sold out (it's a shame because they're so comfy!) but I've linked some other really great ones that will give you the same look. You can't really tell in the pictures, but the sandals have a teeny little wedge on them that gives a little less casual vibe, which I love. So, the shoes I linked have a slight wedge on them as well. One of my sweet, sweet friends let me borrow her black Kate Spade bag for this shoot (thanks, EE!) and now I'm convinced I need a black KS bag of my own! I mean who doesn't?! It goes perfectly with everything all year round, especially in those colder months. They have a great option on sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale right now here.
A different way to style this would be to add some taller nude or black wedges (both on great sale!!!) for a dressy, more sassy feel! And there are a million different style black tanks/blouses that you could wear if you're more into spaghetti straps or a more open back. Here's another great option for those of you who would rather wear a sleeve. All of these options are budget friendly and most importantly, cute! ;) (Just kidding...sorta).
Also, I want to ask y'all about anything you'd like for me to do a post on that's fashion-related. Like "work-wear/business casual", what to wear here or there (ya know, like a picnic or bonfire...or whatever you like to do for fun :) ), "get the look for less", or just anything you are curious about! I would love to share my ideas with you because I want you to be able to learn from this blog, not just look at me awkwardly pose in pictures all the time :) hehe! Just a little side note: My family and I are moving this week/weekend to another state, so I won't be back on here until we are all settled in. I'm hoping for sometime next week!
